Probably a nice simple question for someone? Very Happy
I've a (live) website created in Dreamweaver CS3. How do I transfer or copy this site in its entirety from one PC to another PC which also has Dreamweaver CS installed? ... I need EVERYTHING to go! Laughing
Thanks!

This is for DW MX2004 but it should be the same or quite similar in CS3.

Easy Way #1:
1) On PC2 create the folder that you want the site copied to.
2) On PC2 create a new site in DW where all the settings match those on PC1. Make sure that the Local Root Folder is the folder that you created in step 1.
3) In DW, click the Expand/Collapse icon in the File panel then make sure that you are connected to the remote server.
4) Click Site/Synchronize. In synchronize box select "Entire......site". In direction box select "Get Newer Files From Remote." Click "Preview"
5) A status window and progress bar will appear when it stops there will be a box listing all the files that will be copied from the server. Click OK. All the files on the remote server will then be copied to PC2
6) Depending on your connection and the size of the site this could take a few seconds or several hours.

Easy Way #2
1) Same as step 1 above
2) Same as step 2 above
3) Manually copy all the files and folders on PC1 to PC2. You can do this via a CD, a DVD, a thumb drive or a network.
