Hi,
I have a simple home network with 2 laptops (connected) wirelessly and a desktop PC (wired) to the router.

Is it possible to track/log the websites visitted from any/all computers on my network? I know it's not possible with my router so I was thinking of setting up a "gateway" computer or something. Any direction is appreciated

thanks

You could try FreeProxy from Hand Crafted Software. You need to have a PC that is powered on at all time, to use as the proxy host.

CISCO Network Magic Pro will sort all your problems, and even take screenshots etc off the PC's in use. It can also compile reports for you to access remotely, i.e. online.
Unfortunately, this is a paid version (though much cheaper and easier than setting up a gateway computer) .. it will also allow you to restrict / allow internet access as you see fit.
There is a free version available also, with some of the 'Pro' features disabled.
I should also point out that it makes setting up networks / sharing folders printers etc a doddle ... even I can do it! Laughing ... I installed it several weeks ago ... it's unobtrusive, low overhead, and has worked woithout a hitch so far!

Hello,

You could install Internet monitoring software on all the computers.

Certain routers have a logging feature. Check the documentation for yours and see if it has it.
