okay this is a strange thing that i got on another computer.
this computer is a new install of xp pro sp3

it works for long time nothing going on, then all of a sudden this morning the task scheduler jobs do not run nothing would work with the task scheduler.

until i rebooted and manualy started the maintance and then the task scheduler jobs started to work again. Confused

does anyone know what would cause the task scheduler to stop working ?

Did you turn off any services lately?

nope its just a strange thing that happened by its self. i have no idea what could have happened unless the computer turned off a service by its self. but it was cleared up by doing the maunal running of all the maintance programs. does not make sense? because those programs do not turn on or off any services? Sad Confused
