I'm getting substantially less SPAM!

............. though I wish that was the case EVERY day!

I maintain more than a dozen different email addresses, some with Hotmail, Yahoo, Google etc, and others with my ISP ... and I tend to get a LOT of SPAM email, like many people, I guess?
Over the past few months, I've come to realise that the amount of SPAM mail I get each day on a weekend, i.e. Saturday and Sunday, is maybe only 5% of what I normally get each day during the week, from Monday to Friday ... I'm certainly not complaining about the reduction, just curious to know why this may be happening?
Surely, spammers don't take weekends off?

I too have noticed for several years, less spam, particularly on Sunday. So maybe they do work a shorter work week.
