i use sprint i have sprint phones for years.
i can not understand what every one complains about i have little to no troubles at all i even have a sprint wireless card in the dock of this tower that i am on the internet with now.
but i see that every one seems to be bashing sprint, but how many know that they have had a 3 g network atleast 2 years before verison? and how many know that verison has to lease access from sprint for use of their cell phone towers more then other companys? you complain about sprint but use their stuff without knowing it? and you that use alltell or all talk which ever that company is do you know that verision bought it ?
so you going to them other companys only get the same one you left.
but did you know sprint is coming out with new phones that do all the stuff and more then the other companys. sure the commericals are not really as funny as the 4 guys in the van ones. but the guy in the blue shirt should really be in the van and sprint should be where the blue shirt guy is.
and just try and get help from one of the other companys.
you can get help for sprint phones in radio shack of all places
besides calling their help line, sure its a computer system at first
and might be a little hard to get through, but the help people know what to do and they are not the sales people who will say anything to get a sale.
just my grip of how people are not aware of what the companys are doing. |

Hello,
I do not recall seeing any complaints about Sprint recently on the forum.
I have used 3G cards from Sprint when traveling and they seem to work as expected. Most of the problems I have had have either been from poor signal, which has more to do with my location than the card itself or with cards that were not being properly provisioned by the IT department before they gave them to me, which, again, is not Sprint's fault.
Regards,

yep i did not see any on the forum lately either,
but i was thinking in real world net. as in people searching for messages about sprint or other cell phone companys to see any truth or any complaints that might be out there. and since they are bashing sprint on tv commericals so much i thought to post this to try and get the info out there, and your adding how good you have it with sprint just helps the case be proven to be true. thanks. for the seconding. |

In my job I see people who complain about sprint, but the thing is, they usually don't really have anything reasonable to complain about.
1. They haven't paid their bill, and their phone was disconnected
2. They went with the lowest plan, to "save money" and went over the minutes a massive amount.
3. They went with a plan not including data, or messaging, and used it massively.
4. They did a whole lot of paid services, and then couldn't pay the bill.
5. They called 411 a bunch of times, racking up charges.
6. Things like the broke or drowned the phone and expect it to be replaced, and they don't have insurance.
People seem to expect exceptions to be made, to fix their problem, even though the problems are their fault. They then tell everyone that it's sprint's customer service fault.
I see all these same issues with people who have other companies too, one difference, and it's something that makes sprint better, is the account spending limits. These cut the phone off at $125 or $250 for customers without a better credit rating. On other companies, customers have gotten bills up over $1000 by doing these same things. |

I've been with Verizon almost since I have had a cell phone nearly 10yrs ago, before that I think it was AllTel. My best friend was a die hard Sprint cell phone customer... so was my brother. I hated talking to either of them on their cell phone because the calls were continually dropping. I guess Verizon bypassed that by leasing other companies' towers so that their customers would always have service. Thanks Verizon!
I don't know if dropped calls are still an issue because I don't know anyone with a Sprint cell phone anymore. I'm glad there are fans out there, I hate to see any company go under. |
