hello.
I have the same issue as everyone. I have had sims 2 for years and it has always worked for me. Now wen i install it comes up at 9% saying 'A problem Occured trying to transfer 'TSdata/Res/Sound/Voice1.Package'
I Have tried everything on this forum.
I tried renaming the install shield folder to InstallShielOld, but that didnt work.
I tried manual installation but it stopped the copying at the compressed section saying 'cannot copy compressed: MS-DOS function'
I tried the manual installation with the windows registry but in the windows registry part in step 5 i couldnt find sims 2 in the EA games folder, i could only find sims superstar. So i couldnt continue.
I tried installing it in safe mode, it didnt work.
I tried installing it on my mums bran new laptop but it didnt work.
Please can u help me, i lovvvee playing sims 2 but it doesnt want to work at all
I cant afford a new one, and its warranty is lonngg gone
