Shrook refuses to download feeds, and to show downloaded

Hello, that's simply happening as in the subject of my post: after having dowloaded some feeds, Shrook's charging bar in the middle of the GUI stops its advancing, and I'm no more able even to read what Shrook already downloaded. I've tried uninstalling and installing again, but it didn't fix my problem.
I'm unable to see favicons, too.
Thank you for any advice. Shrook is by every means my favourite rss reader on a mac!
