The HijackThis Logs Forum is ONLY for posting questions related to malware (spyware/virus) related issues. In your topic, please tell us the issue you are having. Don't just post the HijackThis log and think we know what is going on. A brief sentence or two will be perfect

Steps to follow before posting your HijackThis log:

This is listed in the tutorial already, but I will mention it here as well. Please enable all your startup programs. To do this, go to Start->Run and type in msconfig and hit OK. Click on Normal Startup and hit OK. Restart your computer. You may set it back to Selective Startup again when we resolve your issue.

I suggest running one or two of the online virus scanners there. If you have Windows 2000 or higher, get AVG AntiSpyware and run that also.

If you are using Windows XP, you must install XP SP1a (hold off on SP2 until your computer is clean). For those who have Windows 2000, download Service Pack 4 for your computer if you don't have it already. Without these updated Service Packs, you are wide open to re-infection. Do not even post a HijackThis log without doing that first.

When you post your HijackThis log, please....please...Preview it before you post it. If you see that the log is distorted or not formatted properly, that means Word Wrap was enabled in Notepad. To turn this off, go to Format and make sure Word Wrap is unchecked. Then re-copy and paste that log into the forum.

I have seen this a lot, so I will mention this also. If your computer is very slow, make sure you don't have more than one antivirus or firewall program installed. This will cause slowdowns.

This point is only being made since there are a bunch users who do this. Please reply back to your topic whether the problem is resolved or not. It's kind of rude to leave the topic you created without any followup to it.

Follow the steps above to help speed things up here. No point skipping them since if you don't run them now and I see that you didn't, you will be asked to do it anyway...

If your topic is not replied to after 2 days have passed, you may give it a bump. It might have been overlooked.
