Cannot open Lockergnome Newsletters

I subscribe to several Lockergnome newsletters. When I try to open a subject in a newsletter It tries to open in my FF2 but gives me a error message
(php BB Critical Error) and will not open. I have missed a setting someplace but do not know where. Can you help? I have XP Home. Pentium 4, IE7

Excuse my early morning doldrums, but what on earth is a FF2?

Sorry, but I don't do abreviations and anagrams very well.

You have IE7? You also have my sympathies.

I've had to remove that dog from my own computer and from at least a half dozen of my customeres, because it's caused problems with other programs, like O.E. 6.

Going to Add/Remove programs and just DE-Installing it, works every time.

I use only Fire Fox 2.0.0.2 and everything opens just fine.

I kinda figgered that, but for the less enlightened, I just thought I'd ask. Embarassed

We have so many people from different countries and different language groups reading these forums, it's kinder to just spell things out than take for granted that everyone (like me, before my second cup of coffee) will understand all the abbreviations.

But, thank you SeaEagle for that bit of sunshine! Wink

Now, tell the poster why his/or her newsletters won't open and we can put this thread to bed.

So, lets see if I understand this right Question

When we get a "phpBB Error", it means the software that runs the forum is BROKE?

With all the ad's that surely are paying for space on this forum, you'd think there would be enough money to pay someone to fix it and/or keep it running right.

This is the supposedly GREAT software that we were forced to accept last year.....isn't it?

Do ya suppose, it's not the software but the ones administering/maintaining it?
