I am trying to install a new software.But an error occurs in the middle stating that
" an UnInstallShield is in use.Please disable it and then restart setup." However I am unable to locate it .Please help me in solving this problem.

Need more info. Like; OS, what you are trying to install, what you may have done to trigger the uninstall, NB or tower, etc.

If you use Installshield, this might be the error you see and the resolution

If Installshield is not on your computer, then you need to answer Baby_Tux's questions so we can figure out what you are doing.

Why do I get the feeling we are dealing with NT4 here? Seems I recall seeing this installer "die a great-full death" back then.
