Post subject: cannot install sims 2 pets!!!
hi. i have he sims 2 superpack 2007. which includes sims 2, university, open for business, family fun stuff and nightlife. but when i try to install other stuff packs and expansion packs, it will install then during the sims 2 update. it say's something like this... cannot install sims 2 pets the sims 2 is not insatalled properly. but the sims 2 is installed properly, i can play it and it does not have problems. except that i ca install other expansion packs.. can someone pls help me????!!! Crying or Very sad

Hello enchut and welcome to Lockergnome!

Before anyone can help you we need to know your PC specs and the exact error message.

Please download and run SysSpec. Run the file > click edit > click copy to clipboard and then paste it with your reply.

--when i install sims 2 pets it will successfully install up to 100% then it will update. it says " this product will ensure that your existing installation is up to date". when i click OK another message will show up saying " The sims 2 is not installed or not properly installed in your machine. please install or reinstall the sims 2". when i click ok it says "the update did not complete successfully. installation will now terminate".
-- but i've been playing the my sims 2 and everything is ok. it has some expansion packs. but whenever i try to install new stuff packs and expasion packs i always encounter this problem. when i bought the sims 2 it already comes with university, nightlife, open for bussiness and family fun stuff. i desperately need your help.. Crying or Very sad

Well i'd try uninstalling the game, installing Sims 2, installing the latest Sims 2 patch and then install the expansion packs.

--but i have the sims 2 and the expansion packs all in one DVD.
