I have 2 networked computers running xp and would like to share internet connection. I cant connect on either when the LAN connection is enabled. If I disable LAN, I can connect on shared computer. If Lan is enabled and internet not shared I can connect on the shared computer. Its like when the network is on and shared is enable its trying to connect to internet through the LAN??? I get the shared internet connection icon on the client computer so something is right with the setup, must be some setting or something? I have a speedstream 5100 dsl modem (isp-yahoo) running to ethernet connection and network is running a D-Link Fast ethernet usb2.0 adapter. I am just learning this networking stuff so not real good at it. Thanks in advance for any help.
