98? Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

First DE-Install Norton. It's way too much of a resource hog for a 98 PC.
Next AVG 7.5 is no longer supported by Grisoft, Inc. and AVG 8.x will not work on windows 98. So get rid of that too.

If running Windows 98, you should at least be running 98SE and the Unofficial Service pack. Both will help internet connection.

Cool

Hello,

It sounds like Symantec Norton Anti Virus accidentally blocked port 80. I would suggest contacting their technical support for assistance in fixing this.
