I don't know where this topic belongs so I will start a new. Each and every time I open my browser to the lockergnome forums I am only seeing maybe 3 topics, if I want to see the rest of the topics I need to refresh my page. Is this a forum or a browser issue. |

Try clearing your cache and see if that fixes the problem. The first time you load the forums your browser could be actually loading the page it has stored on the disk cache. Also, check your cache settings to see how often the browser compares what is on the cache with what is on the remote site. |

| There DOES seem to be an issue with the site as some have reported that they are experiencing the "missing info on page" thing too. - see "whats going on with the forum" |

I run a batch file on every boot up, that cleans out all the temporary internet files, cookies and history from the day before. So there's never a buildup of junk in my PC.
Still, sometimes I open a thread that has multiple pages, but, all I get is page #1, ending at the bottom of my screen.
I'm still getting "No Post Mode" error messages when I try to post a message.
I've asked about that at least six times so far and NO one has even commented on it. Am I the only one seeing this error?
I use Firefox 3.0 and AdBlock+ to keep all the ads, banners and sidebars off of my screen while I'm in LG.
I can't help but wonder just how many problems are caused in LG by all that ad-crap being added to every screen. ???

I'm running Fedora 9, FF3, No-Script & Ad-blocker+. So far the only thing that got me was the "Offensive?" word thing. But yeah, Doc, without all the filtering stuff for FF, I can't even BEGIN to stand to try to read anything.
This ought to be a "FLAG" to the powers that be on ANY site - get to carried away with ADS & people won't even look at them. And it makes it a real bear to sift through to get the needed info to help anyone.
BTW: I ONLY see forum stuff, NOTHING else. |
