but can some one tell me why a food processor
would have a warnning tag that says.
"Not To Be Used For The Other Use"
 and if it is ligit then can some one please
tell me.
What is the other use?

| Without seeing the entire label or instruction pamphlet, I can only guess this is a grammatical error (a bad translation, if it was made in a foreign country?) and probably should have said something along this line,
"Not to be used for any other purpose than food preparation."

i was just wondering why that was like that.?
it was an old joke i got from one of the well known comedian's list of jokes they did. don't ask which one i went on a surf and copy trip to lots of their pages i don't remember which i got it from.
but the joke does indicates it was a Japanese appliance.
so your suggestion makes perfect sense.
i was just stuck on the same line of thought the guy in the joke was.  |

| Well, even when they're serious, some of the cautions on appliances get pretty ridiculous. Like a hairdryer. It actually says something like "Don't use in water". |

I just installed 4 UPS's and there were stickers on them that read " DO NOT plug the device into itself or permanent damage may result"

Actually I thought that was a pretty reasonable one,
as people do all sorts of things in the bath.
