The old sticky listing gnomies' favorite Linux sites disappeared when we changed the forum software a while ago, so I thought it might be worthwhile to start a new topic. Here are three free sites I regularly visit:
LinuxQuestions.org - has a help forum, tutorials, a wiki, reviews, downloads and lots more. A very complete Linux site.
DistroWatch.com: Put the fun back into computing. - probably the most comprehensive site on the web when it comes to listing Linux & BSD distributions. It also shows what each distro contains and has links to reviews, downloads and help forums (plus a lot more). The first place you should go if you are looking for a new distro to try out.
The table of equivalents / replacements / analogs of Windows software in Linux - an awesome list of Linux alternatives/equivalents to Windows software.
Please feel free to add your own favorite (free) Linux sites to this topic. Whether it be help forums, tutorials, software sites, or just places to get good eye-candy such as themes, we want to know about them.
Please post free sites only. Forum moderators reserve the right to remove/edit posts which may be considered as spam or are for non-free sites/software.
