Hello,
Exactly what information MUST you include in the 'About Us' page on a website, so as to remain within the legal boundaries?

Hello,

I am more likely to trust a company which mentions its date of incorporation (or an explanation of how the company started and got to where it is today), a contact address, a telephone number and either web form or email address which can used to contact the company for more information. Depending upon the type of company, mentioning some of their clients or awards they have one might be appropriate.

Regards,

Thanks for that. I know a little more now, at least from a customer point of view!

The items that Aryeh mentioned are good guidelines, but you really don't need to be concerned with legal boundaries. Other than copyright and plagiarism, you shouldn't be concerned with any of the content or lack thereof on an About Us page. It's your site.

Having a copyright statement would be a good idea as noted. Also if you are planning on running any adsense ads on your website you MUSt now have a privacy statement on your website. That would be a good idea to include on almost any website.
