Hi.
Have just installed IE 8 however when I try to customise the "add remove command" is greyed out.

Perhaps the following steps from Microsoft's knowledgebase will help: How do I uninstall or remove Internet Explorer 8? (Alternative steps for Windows Vista or for Windows Server 2008).

I don't want to unistall IE 8, just want to customise the command bar.

uninstall it. use firefox. faster, more stable, more customizable. then you can also use k-lite megacodec pack with media player classic to replace wmp. nero vision to replace windows dvd maker.

Even though I have never tried or even looked at IE8, I can't believe that any customizing as such can be done through the "add & remove" anyway. It is usually done in the program itself.
