Hello,
I'm wondering if there is any way to change/assign keyboard shortcuts to the OS, for example a keyboard shortcut to minimize a window, like there is one for closing it..
I'm running XP SP2.

Hello,
I am not sure if it will do exactly what you are looking for, but Autohotkey does allow you to create hotkeys, perform text substitution, remap keys and so forth. Perhaps it will meet your needs.

Ever since the days of Windows 3.1, I have been using the macro recorder that was part of 3.1, and I don't understand why it was dropped when W95 came out. This applet/utility consists of an executable, a DLL and a helpfile.
I have used it on all versions of Windows except Vista, and it works great.
Find Recorder.exe, recorder.dll and recorder.hlp. You may be able to locate the files on the Net, if you can't, just email me a request and I will ship back a zipfile containing all 3.
