Hi coconut,

This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team responding to your post. The "ccCommon.msi" error is related to the Windows installer service, and is most likely affecting your installation of Norton. This behavior can also indicate a possible infection on your system as well.

To resolve this issue, please click on the following link and follow the instructions to re-register the Windows Installer , and to then do a proper uninstall and reinstall of Norton.

Windows Installer Error Fix

After you follow through with the steps in this document, please restart your computer in Windows Safe Mode and then run a Comprehensive Scan with Norton.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue.

Thank you,
Mike
