hi, i have a Samsung VM8000 series laptop and i need to find a hard drive that has 44 pins. anyone know any brand of hard drive that fits this description? Crying or Very sad

To the best of my knowledge, all laptop drives are the same, except for the SATA drives. With 44 pins, it's got to be an IDE drive.

Toshiba and Seagate seem to be the most popular drives with most manufacturers.

In some towns, you can go into a store like Staples, Best Buy or Circuit City and buy them right off the shelf.

Call around your area and see who's got one they'd like to sell you. Wink
