My son's Sony camera developed a glitch, and in the middle of a bunch of about 64 pictures, a group of 20 caused the camera to freeze up when attempting to look at them. The camera works properly now, and takes good pics.

I tried to move the files from the Memory stick to the computer via camera, and via memory stick reader, and only the "good" files moved. The bad ones did not and raised a "file error" message.

After moving the good pics, I did a chkdsk /f on the memory card and the program found that the pics had faulty size specifications. But Chkdsk did recover something and some fragments.

The recovered picture fragments show essentially the top 1/4 of the picture. I am sure that the rest of the image data exists in the series of "file0xxx.chk" files that were created. What is a program I might use to try to glue these fragments together again?

thanks.
