Does anyone know where I can download the complete Avg9 file. I have hunted the Avg website for the complete file and all I have found so far is the download manager. |

Hi Mike, I googled for "remove avg" and found that and the full 75 Mb
avg9.0 file. I believe it was an avg forum. I have had some problems
removing old avg so this find was a blessing. Used the full file on a
system still with dial-up connection. Saved hours of download. BW/zzron |

Try FileHippo.com
It's a great depository of all sorts of freeware. They even have older versions of whatever you're looking for. AVG Free is in the (you guessed it) Anti-Virus section. |

Here is a link that I have bookmarked that I have had for many years. It gets you directly to the Australian site, but more importantly, right to the page with the 3 columns on it, with the left side column having the FREE download at the bottom.
After clicking on the FREE Version at the bottom of that column. you now have to register to download, and that will get you to the download button - HOWEVER, the FULL download is directly above that button and is called "Installation File". If you read the small paragraph on the right side of the Download button, it does explain that for you.
Here is the link ...
http://www.avgfree.com.au/download_avg_anti-virus_free_edition.cfm
Save the link as a favorite for future use.

Lockergnome requires I have a hundred posts before I can post a working link. Since that;s what you need, I'll break it up: free.avg.com/, then ww-en/download?prd=afg#tba2
Just tested it -- its still there. |

On my web site, I've had the download site for AVG FREE for several years.
From time to time it changes, so I have to keep updating my listings, but at least for today, here is the best place to get it:
http://www.filehippo.com/download_avg_antivirus/
I think File Hippo was already mentioned, but here's the precise link.
Then save that file to a CD or flash drive, just in case you need it again.
I download it once a month, just so I have the latest version, to install for my customers, without having to wait to download extensive updates.
Good Luck,
The Doctor |
