The system requirements are supposed to be similar to those of
Microsoft Windows 7. That said, there's a great big difference between
minimum system requirements and
recommended system requirements.
At the very least, I suspect things like touch-screen monitors might be of interest; the new Metro user interface looks very fingertip-friendly.
As with any other Microsoft Windows operating system release, I suspect that when it does ship there will be all sorts of bundles, offers and promotions. Microsoft does like announcing that its new operating system sold better than the previous one at launch.
