Virus Problems

Hi I don't know if i've done this properly, but a friend told me to go to this website for help. My computer probably has a host of prolems. I dont know much about viruses but i think ive got them. My computer freezes constantly and it seems that way too many programs are trying to run at once. When my computer starts up i get about 7-8 icons in the right bottom corner. If i leave it alone it freezes and the desktop icons disappear along with the start menu. Please let me know if you can help. And please let me know if you will be able to connect to me to view my problems. Thankyou very much.

Please do this;

Download 'Hijack This!'. Here
Save it to a convenient permanent folder like this C:\HJT\HijackThis.exe, double click HijackThis.exe, and hit "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button.
Press that, save the log, Ctrl-A to Select All, and copy its contents here. Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, don't fix anything yet.
