| Due to it's chance for abuse, we have turned off the ability for users/members to delete threads whether they've started them or not. If you see a thread that you think should be deleted report it to a moderator or administrator and we'll check into it. Thread starters will still have the ability to close threads they start, but will no longer have the option to delete it completely.

While we are on the subject of post deletions:
Can we get the board to automatically notify users when a post is moved or deleted or just plain "disappears", no matter what the reason for such action? |

No, there's no option for that. In nearly every case, the moderator pulling a post will send a PM or email to the thread starter or poster letting them know the details.
The main exception to that is in Political Geeks when the post or thread is clearly in violation of the forum rules. As we've posted in that forum, posts and threads in violation there may be closed or removed without notice. |
