Anyone have experience with this? Computer it's on is Vista Home Premium. Not much more info available right now, but will update as soon as I can. I haven't found out much about it and I'm not sure just what security software customer is using yet. Will post back when I find out more. Thanks for help.

I'm sure anyone with even a modicum of technical expertise would ask,
"How do you know there's a trojan?...... what program told you so?"
Usually a program that would tell you there's a Trojan, would then remove it.
Except Norton, of course.

I once took a service call on a PC where Norton reported a virus, that is said it could not remove. (so typical)
I installed AVG FREE, which removed the one virus and then found and removed another 150, that Norton had never even seen.
Within minutes, the customer was on the phone to Symantec demanding her money back. Laughing Laughing Laughing
For me, that was a good day....not so much, for Symantec (Norton).

Today, even the newest version of Spybot S&D detects and removes quite a few Trojans. I install that program for every one of my customers.

Good Luck,

I've found the more "good" malware detectors that one can throw at it the more chance of finding & removing all the "nasties".

Same holds true with A/V's but THERE you can only have ONE AT A TIME or they will fight one another & screw up everything.

Hello,

TrojanDownloader:ASX/Wimad.T seems to be Microsoft OneCare Live's name for this particular piece of malware. You can view their description of the threat at http://onecare.live.com/site/en-US/virusenc/virusencinfo.htm?VirusName=TrojanDownloader:ASX/Wimad.T.

I did a quick search and found a page on VirusTotal at http://www.virustotal.com/analisis/0c20f27003edc8900f5cebae8e64d2cd listing MD5 and SHA1 hashes for it as well as the names used for it by a couple of dozen anti-malware programs.

Regards,
