if you want some good pizza snack or meatloaf dinner even if you want chicken soup lunch, or the texas biscuits and gravy breakfast, you can check out my way of cooking them on my site at.
http://www.angelfire.com/tx5/rovingcowboy0/menu.html
now the name of the page might fool you a little bit.
but there are other things on the page it is really my content menu page.
so enjoy..

When i open the Texas map all i get is popup Ads. Brat said don't open it any more.
I never found the chicken recipe.
How does the canned chicken taste?
John has never used canned chicken, he cuts up 2/3 chickens cooks white in 1 pot dark in the other pot, then freeze the meat in Food Saver bags, then freeze the broth.
He does use canned beef & chicken broth.
He better hurry back i'm tired of my cooking , off to work. |

It has been a very long time since i posted here. about my food page.
i have deleted the previous posts i did in reply to yours. but here is what i have done.
the pop up warnings were because of the asf file for some reason the people at some spyware program or antivirus program don't like asf files.
so i have changed that to an wmv file.
and the popups that were warnings should be gone.
of course i am sorry but the host still puts up advert popups so you still need a popup window killer program. i use the ems free surfer mark 2 program and i don't get any popups on the web at all.
now for the best part.
I have updated my meatloaf page with more correct instructions and better reading options.
and photo's
so enjoy.
oh yep i forgot the canned chicken taste's just like chiken
really it is just the white meat in the cans that I get. but you are able to get cans with both or just dark meat. it is cooked
and you could just eat it cold but i like to heat it up in the soup. i use the cans for speed in cooking.

| You should think about setting up a recipes blog rovingcowboy. You can then join up with other recipe blog networks and swap recipes, as well as get feedback comments on your blog posts. People can also subscribe to the blog's RSS feed, so whenever you add a new recipe they will know about it. |

thanks for the idea seaeagle but i stay away from blog sites.
i'm old and set in my web site ways.
i never really kept a log anyway only when i drove semi trucks.
i just wanted to help this here forum room out and then i got a few notices and seen the instructions could be misunderstood on how i make the meatloaf so i fixed them.
the pop ups brat was getting were when they tried to see my tour of fort worth.
so i fixed that page, and answered brat here because the complaint was posted here. |

I've Changed the meatloaf page again.
For some reason i am no longer able to handle all the stuff i use
to eat? must have turned that age in the last week where our
cast iron stomach turns in to jello?
but i made this week's meatloaf and the pepper almost put me back in the hospital ER room, like i was last Sunday for a toothache with infection, that was painful.
i wonder if having that pulled in the last week also took my cast iron stomach with it?.
anyway i have since adjusted the spices and added more meat to it and adjusted the mixing order.
so if anyone had saved it before they can now go get the new version of it.
same link off the menu page link in this threads first message.
just who'd have thunk getting a tooth pulled would turn you in to a yanky. |

Sorry to tell you it's not the tooth pulling it's AGE, brat's 69+ he eats 1/2 what he did before now gets upset tummies with to much spice, he was able to sit & eat hot peppers with the best of them, now it's a no-no.

okay i was not thinking i would ever have to update this thread again. but it seems i am so.
my sister is in to this diet thing where you count calories and other stuff to get so many points for your food so you can eat and lose weight?
so i did up the meatloaf diner page. man is there a lot of stuff in that meal. maybe i better stop eating the whole thing myself?
but all the diet facts are on the meatloaf now so enjoy.

okay its been a long time since i updated this post.
but just in time for 2011 thanksgiving day i'm here to update it.
i had thought i would not ever need to update it but since sept. 2011 i found i had to do this and i just got it up last week. been under the weather some. and i really don't get online much anymore, but i can't eat
some of the stuff i had in it anymore so i had to add some new instructions and a few new subsitute items.
okay to make a long story short. you in the medical world will know what
happened by what it is called. "CHF" that is what i had happen to me.
was bloated with 5 gallons of water, yep 4 quarts a day was removed for 5 day stay in the hospital. that med... really gets rid of the water. high blood pressure too it was 170 / 152. they said that was critical but i didn't feel like it was?
so now they got me on low sodium diet heck its only 2 grams of salt a day. i'm starvin man you know salt is in everything, but apples and pasta.
and jars of single spices, i really have lost weight but want more then one hotdog a day.
still the update for the meatloaf dinner now has sub's for the heavy salt items. still makes a good tasting meatloaf just lower salt.

thanks for the well wishes.
also i forgot to say that i also put low salt information on the texas bisket and gravy page too.
for those of you wondering what i might do next the wait is over.
oh come on now just a little fun in a post??
okay on my site menu page same link as the one for this thread.
i've added another item.
i call it Roving cowboy's low css american western burger.
css is explained on the burger's page but it sands for carbs, sugar, sodium
since i can now not even have that many carbs a day. i think the doctors are trying to starve me,
no milk, no eggs, no yeast, cut salt back to 2 grams a day, cut carbs back to 240 grams a day, cut sugars out as far as possible.
now what is all that in.
exactly so what is i allowed to eat.???
according to the doctor anything i want as long as it is only enough to feed
a bird. UMm?? he didn't say what size of bird.
