Can this be done? I have purchased ATI 9.0 & 10.0 on disk. Both disks are bootable. They both have an updates. Can the base products and their Updates be Slipstreamed to make a consolidated bootable CD of each program. Acronis help/support is not much "Help". If not here, can you point me to a Forum or Help group where I can get info to slipstream the base program and its update, making a single bootable CD?

There are many articles on Slipstreaming Windows XP and SP2 plus updates and I have Slipstreamed Windows XP and SP2, plus updates to a bootable CD, that works.

TIA

The ability to combine XP and its Service Packs is built into XP.
A simple command line can and will do the job nicely.

I would doubt that such is true with Acronis T.I.

"They both have an updates."

Unless v. 10 is just updates, what is your purpose? 10 is a core update of everything on 9. In other words - 10 already has everything that 9 has, plus more updates. What would you gain by trying to slipstream two versions of the same product? Basically 10 IS a "slipstreamed" 9.

Hi,
Slipstream it with what?

If you want to create a bootable CD, there is a subroutine on the toolbar. It will send an ISO file to wherever you want on your HDD. Burn it to a CD and boot the comp with it. It's about 67.5MB so it will fit ona 3" CD. I use it all the time for backup and recovery work instead of the program/installation CD.

Good Luck
