Hello to everyone! I'm another one of those unlucky N-Vidia owners who suffer from game crashes... I've done everything (updated drivers, patched my games, disabled anti-virus programs during gameplay....blah,blah,blah...). I don't know if there's something to be done. Is my only solution to wait until N-Vidia actually deals with the problem? I have several expansion packs: Nightlife, University, Seasons and Bon Voyage. My system specs are:

Hello Effi and welcome to Lockergnome!

Have you updated your motherboard chipset drivers?
Did you uninstall the existing drivers before updating your graphics card drivers?
Do you have any custom content?

Hi! Well, I don't think that my custom content is the problem because I've tried to play after I had removed it but crashing did not stop. Now, the truth is that I didn't removed my existing drivers before updating them...I'll try it again (correctly this time!). As for the chipset drivers...I must admit that I don't know what exactly are these but I'll find out about them!
Thanks a lot for the advice and for your time! If that doesn't work I think I'll give up on Sims 2. I'm really fed up of trying, although I adore this game...

You can get the chipset drivers from the PC manufacturer or the motherboard manufacturer.
