| Hi. i have downloaded sims 2 pets, mounted it with daemon tools 3.47. Installation started. Then I wrote the serial, waited till 100% and a message pop'ed up. It says I need to do updates(how can a game update from it's own cd?).I don't have what to choose, so I press OK. Them it asks to insert sims 2 DVD. I don't have it. If I press cancel everything terminates. I tried using YASU, Alcohol 120%, magical cd (or something) and 3 versions of Daemon tools. It didn't worked with Sims 2 Seasons pack. What to do? who are those paches?

If you enjoy the game, want to play the game then support the developer and buy the game.

Alright, this is infuriating, ive got the real cd's every time i try and patch Sims 2, it tells me to insert the cd, this is a fresh install, nothing added, i insert the cd, it tells me to insert the cd, i restart the computer and do it again, it tells me to insert the cd, ive tried making images of the cd and mounting them with various programs, it does nothing, is there like a copy of the patch that had the cd check thing cut out, since it clearly doesnt seem to function properly, no matter what is done? or have i like, missed something? ive been trying for like 3 days, and it doesnt work. i even went out and pirated a copy in the hopes it had something fixed in it. im not even going to try to install the expansions till i can get this fixed, id rather not have even more patches that dont work.

Are you using the CD or a CD image? |
i have the sam problem, it asks me about cd 4 and when i put in nothing happens(i dowloaded from internet), i have cd image can you help me??? |

If you like the game, if you want to play the game then I would suggest you support the developers and buy the game. |
