On my sims 2 seasons i have this neighbourhood thats been growing and growing and well recently it started taking forever to load, the music kept cutting and the sounds too.

So i delelted a few things on my laptop like games like sims3, and a tone of music.

So anyway games speeded up a bit, but on my neighbourhood covering 3 houses in a row is a large white/ very pale multicoloured box with lines through it, its hard to explain but its so weird its like something had corrupeted my game.

And i know this sounds weird but the other week in that box was a bath shower and large one like over them 3 houses. i know it dont make sense
but its now on the one house ended up being there when i get on the house, therefore cant see then house and the game and house generally looks damadged or corrupted in some way.

And now ive just worked out i can move it but theres a hose stuck inside it and i dont wanna have to delete that house.

please help me

i read it thinking it was not giong to be an easy fix and i'm right.
but what it sounds like to me is your out of ram for the program.

you got to remember the sim's and other games like them eat up ram to keep all the data running. now sim's been around for awhile and they should have got it using less ram but still the more you get in your game the more ram is used and the more cpu cycles so one of them is lacking. i'd say the ram could be added too by using the page file / swap file / virt memory. which ever your system is calling it.

just make that larger and see if that helps. of course making that larger takes up your hard drive space..

if you can make the L2 cache larger try that, it should help with the cpu.

but i gave up on the games like that because of those reasons. you just can't keep buying new systems every 3 to 5 months just to play that type of game.

Surprised
