would like to locate a safe, acquarium screen saver to add to my XP home edition screen savers...Looking for something similar to the screen saver that you see displayed on the computers at Circuit City and Best Buy...

I'm paranoid about downloading any type of .scr file without a recommendation
from a Lockergnome member...

Thanks...Robby J

Well, I don't use screensavers so I won't be of much help. You may want to try a site called theme Xp.

If you buy the XP Plus! pack, it includes an aquarium screensaver that's quite nice. I think the Plus! pack runs about $20 in most computer stores. And it's from Microsoft, so you know it's OK. Wink

I got the XP Plus pack. It's okay if you don't install all the themes and screensaver; it uses a lot of your resources, especially the mercury pool. You gotta have at least 512 mb. I use one theme and screensaver. I make others using elements in XP. There is a my pictures screensaver for you to have a personal screensaver. You can make your own themes with personal pictures and icons you can download. You can change icons by going to System32 and finding the C:\WINDOWS\system32\WHISTLER.DLL and C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll for icons to extract.

one of the screensavers in the Plus. The plus is a drain on resources.
