While I haven't been too impressed with RSS yet I still try out readers here and there to see what all the fuss is about. I just happened upon this one today

Sauce Reader

Of all the readers I've tried this one is seems to be ok. I have had a few shutdowns but for the most part I like the look and feel, and it's free. Anyone else tried it yet?

Looks cool, Sarge...but you worry me with the "few shutdowns" comment. It shut itself down or your system? It is a Windows app, so if it just shut itself down, that's only to be expected. Laughing Otherwise, I especially like the bloggong window, very convenient. Keep me posted, and maybe after a few days I'll check it out. I need something on the Windows side of my laptop as good as the app I'm using in Linux called "Straw"...which doesn't have a Win version. I'm getting hooked on reading these feeds every day. Sure saves time not having to browse all those sites.

When I said shutdowns I mean the program, not XP! Laughing I'm still not convinced about RSS though. I still prefer browsing than having it "pushed".

You have to have the .NET framework from Micro$haft for it to work. No Thanks.

Look at the other post on this forum, I posted. You can find "Feedreader" there Sgt.

It's very dependable and I would look into that izynews program, I have it up working through Outlook Express and it works beautifull, no problems and easy access without having to browse,
you download the email(it gives you some samples to pick they are already there once you click on the reset button, it's very easy to understand they walk you through it,
no college degree necessary) onto your server and click on the link of your choosing and your there reading it. Not a bad little program. Wink

Thanks! I'm quite happy with Abilon at the moment but I'm going to check out this Izzy reader as it ties in with Outlook.
