I swear I don't get anything for this.

Do the articles stay on the local computer once read?.

I use NewsGator, so my feeds come into my outlook. What this means to me is that the articles stay untill I delete them. I can also treat the Items as any other e-mail so I can have them auto-archived, apply rules, I can also forward or delete.

As part of my job I had to try many aggregators, and NewsGator's my favorite, and works best for me.

Most of the aggregators have free trials, so find one you like.

Whether or not the articles stay depends on the reader. Most of them, it seems, have an autoexpire feature, so that they're removed after a certain number of days.

Magispeller is absolutely on the mark here, whether or not the articles stay is based on the reader, and the settings you use.
