Using FeedDemon to look at a text RSS feed we're working on, and I can't, try as I might, get the "pubDate" thing working.

I've spent two hours on it now, and it's most irritating!

The RSS feed (this is a static test) is at http://www.virginradio.co.uk/index.rss if you'd care to have a look.

What on earth am I doing wrong?

I ought to point out that the problem isn't with FeedDemon, but with the RSS feed.

Welcome to the forum B)

Sorry we couldn't help - looks like you didn't need us anyway Wink

So how'd you do it?

There may be others who could glean from your wisdom Smile

No idea how we fixed it... it looked identical to other feeds. But, we've got it sorted.

It's also /index.xml now; the .rss extension was confusing people.

We use .rss at csmonitor.com, so it is possible. If I knew when I set up the feeds what I know now, I would have used the .xml extension.
(For those trying this at home, we needed to set some Apache configuration option to serve up .rss files at text/xml).
