I know Chris has mentioned us a couple years back in GnomeReport.
We are a completely not-for-profit organization offering free technical support for all. No ads, spam, etc. (I can swear to that). A great resource for any type or tech support problem.
We have around 850 technicians currently and we are always looking for more, so if you're real tech saavy, and have a heart, join us!

I just strolled in for a quick looksee as well, and clicked one or two topics out of interest.
We have a computer at work with Norton Internet Security 2003 <_< which has been causing no end of irritation in demanding net connections when you do *anything* - we even had to disable it from checking office documents because opening a file could take 5 minutes while cancelling the dial-up connection box umpteen dozen times.
And there in your forum was someone with the same problem! And more importantly, a solution! At least, I won't know until I get back to work Tuesday whether it works, but hey, anything's worth a try

The irony of that is that we tell most people who post their questions on the forums to go do so in our ticket system. That way we can keep track of our answers since we use a MySQL database.
So far we've answered 105,313 as of 11:42 AM April 8th. (PST). I'll update this number later. |

I believe this had been entered into the ticket system, but someone had posted the solution as well. I hope it got into the database!
