Hello,

I'm running 32-bit Windows Vista, and recently, I tried to install a driver using a CD for my video card (ATI Radeon 2400) - it screwed up my system and I had to do a system restore.

After that point, I haven't been able to save or open attachments from the internet at all. i.e. from gmail, torrent sites, etc. I thought it was an IE problem, but the same issue with Firefox

Can anybody please help, this is a very annoying problem !

Thanks!!!

The windows version of Firefox "borrows" some of its stuff from IE (options anyway) so not surprising neither work. Some versions of IE have a repair function built in, either in the add/remove or the IE itself (one of the menu items) check on this & try. You MAY have screwed up your ASSOCIATIONS, you'll need to check that next - then if that doesn't get it you may have to reinstall IE (& probably FF) - If that doesn't get it, & no-one else has a better idea (use the following as a last resort) then the next thing I'd try is a REPAIR INSTALL of vista.
