Hi,
I'm creating a template for a police-report, and I've run into a problem which has taken all day..
The thing I need is..
A document where the first page has a table with different columns a rows.. this is where you would write date, case number, name, address etc.
The second page is for writing the actual police-report.. Here it has to be possible to edit the text as a regular document.
I've created a new document and saved it as a template.
I've created a table with all the needed cells for information and locked the height of them.
I've inserted text-input form-fields in the cells for users to input text.
When I lock the form I am able to edit the front page as I'm suppose to and everything is great but when I've filled the last form-field I am not able to edit page 2 as the cursor jumps back to the first page.
If I add a text form-field for writing on page2 I'm able to write but not format the text as if it was a normal document... and that is very much needed!
How do I get this working the right way? Is there any way I can have the form lock only working on a section of the template?
I'm using word 2003
