| I have wWindows XP and was using the Windows picture and fax viewer which I liked, but now my pictures come up in Microsoft Photo Editor. What happened to the Windows Viewer and how do I get it back? I can't find the program in the list of programsl, or in the list in the control panel under "add and remove" programs.

| The same thing happened to me after I upgraded XP to SP2.
From recollection...Right-click on the file. Click Open With. Click choose program. Click the Picture and Fax Viewer and click the box that says "Always ..."

Thank you, Matt. I did as you suggested and it straightened everything out.
It was after I added SP2 that I lost the Win pictures viewer as you say it happened with you.
