| The Problem is when I get to round 22, half way through it the game just quits, no warning or other indication that it is going to do it. I downloaded the patch for this problem, but it was suppose to fix this problem in round 23. I tried it anyway and it didn't work, so I contacted Tech Support and was told to try a fresh install of the game and then to apply the patch, which I did, didn't work. I sent them a debug screenshot and a DirectX diagnostic, only not to hear from them again. I even installed it on a friends computer system which is very different than mine, only to have the same problem. Anybody else run into this problem? Any help would be great. Thanks.

| Problem solved! After not getting any help from Atari on this problem, I decided to do a little tinkering around with the "Stage 3" dat file, so if there is anyone out there that has this problem, I solved it this way: Open up stage 3 dat file with a word editor like Notepad or Wordpad and go to round 22. When you get there, look for the audio file line "There's a sub around here", highlight and delete it. The game will also exit out in round 24 at the beginning, so there is another audio file line about a sub you must also delete. After that the game will play just fine. I hope this might help someone out there, seeing how the tech's at Atari are too busy to even respond. |
