| In Word XP, when I paste a bit of text from another part of a document I get a little Icon of a clipboard sitting on top of the bit just pasted. It has a little menu that I can drop down, that offers things like format as destination.
How can I get rid of this?
I don't need it, I don't want it and once it's there it won't go away. Instead it sits masking that bit of text so that I can't even see if it's not how I want it.

| Go to the tools tab, click on options, then edit and remove the check mark that says show paste option buttons.

Thank you.
I hadn't even realised that the two things were connected, let alone what it was. |
