Outlook problem.

Dear Friends,

I am using my computer as proxy server and others are using shared internet which is shared by me through proxy+. Since last few days few users are facing problem in outlook. When they send the mail it immediately bounces back. The error says "550 relaying is disabled". And the strange thing is when that user sends normal mail i.e., mail without attachment it goes fine but when user sends mail with attachments it is not delivered to the recipient. I tried to figure it out but am not able to resolve the problem. Your help is greatly needed.

If I remember my proxy server (or email server) stuff, there is a setting (in ONE of them at least) to do just that. I'd check all setting & see if they are like you want them.

Boy, do I need a refresher in this stuff. The old adage, use it or lose it...
Well it's been a while since I had to mess with such, so please forgive me if I'm not quite right about this. But checking the setting won't hurt.

Also, check your event logs...
