I am going in circles with this problem, been responding with mcafee techs and having no luck. Problem is that spam killer is supposed to check mail before you go to outlook express, thats works fine, but when I go to OE to retrieve messages I have to change my server back to pop from 127.0.0.1, and user name dropping off e mail part. Then my mail comes in. I have turned off virus scan outgoing mail, increased server time to max- checked mcafee firewall and outlook express in permitted, even tried turning off firewall to see if this would work when receiving mail, it did not. At the moment I am working around this but it is a pain. What could be the problem?perhaps there is a better spam killer program out there thatwould work better then the McAfee. anysuggestions?
