I have been using OE6 and IMAP on 6 accounts. The mails have been downloading in the respective IMAP accounts perfectly till today. I had about 3000 messages in 1 of the IMAP Inbox accounts. When I clicked on the Inbox, it showed almost half of the Inbax with messages that are yet to be downloaded (only headers) and in the status window it is downloading some 1500 messages.
Is this a bug in OE, and can this be resolved.
Is there a better software to handle IMAP messages.

I've always liked Thunderbird a bit better than OE. I've also had very good luck with Eudora as an IMAP client
