I'm new to NewsGator, although I've used Radio as a blogging/RSS reader for a while. Since I installed it, about 1 of every 3 times I shut down Outlook, the program interface disappears normally, and then after a few seconds of hard drive activity, I get the "Outlook has encountered an error and needs to close" dialog.

I'm using the latest release of Gator and Outlook XP, with all the latest patches. I have the Radio plug-in installed in NewsGator.

Has anyone else seen this? Thanks...

Keith

Hi Keith, this definitely shouldn't be happening, especially if you're using 1.3 or later...if it persists, contact support.RemoveThis@newsgator.com.

Suggestion: Turn on Task Manager and enable the Virtual Memory column. Watch total ram consumption. Outlook addins can sometimes have trouble with consuming too much ram. If those #s get high, exit.

Note: This suggestion has nothing to do with Newsgator but are just general comments about things that plug into Outlook.
