| Quite a few good free open-source Windows programs here:
Open Source Windows - Free, Open-Source software for Windows
| Quote: |
| Open Source Windows is a simple list of the best free and open source software for Windows. We aren't trying to be a comprehensive listing of every open-source Windows application, instead we want to showcase the best, most important, and easiest to use. This page should be a handy reference and a useful tool for getting more people to start using free and open-source software. If you think we're missing any great apps, please let us know. |
It really is worth a look if you are searching for free, quality software programs to perform tasks such as Web Browsing, Instant Messaging, Peer-to-Peer Filesharing, Video Playback, DVD Ripping/Video Conversion, Graphics/Photo Editing & lots more.

Hello,
SourceForge hosts a variety of Open Source programs, many of which are available as compiled binaries for Windows. They even host ReactOS, which is an attempt to make an Open Source implementation of Microsoft Windows XP.
