None of the "alternative energy sources" are able to survive without Gov. subsidy!

That includes nuclear power.

I wonder if that would have been true if we had not had a 30 year moratorium on development and building. And, it seems to me this technology has the most potential for the long term in not having wind availability and weather related handicaps.

Don't get me wrong, I believe in having a mix of sources. But nuclear needs to be in the mix.

And we need to subsidize fusion research.

I agree, a mix of energy sources seems entirely reasonable.....but which countries are going to be allowed to develop nuclear power, and which are going to be denied that facility.....and who decides?

As far as I know, nobody complains about simple nuclear power plants. What caused concern was the North Korean weapons program, and Iran's probable weapons program.

Who decides? as always, the weak guy can't enforce a decision.

All countries that have signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty are entitled to develop nuclear power,
and enrich uranium under the conditions of that treaty.
