October 3 2008 COOLSITES Newsletter #185 by Mark Donaldson

Almost everyone got last week's newsletter.

I still may have problems from time to time so here is what I have done. Subscribers may use a private link to download the newsletter in the text ( .txt ), html (.html ) and the MS Word Doc ( .doc ) format in a zip file. I will upload the zip files to my archive site right after I send out the newsletter on Friday morning. If a subscriber doesn't receive the newsletter, by 8am EDT, they can quickly download it, unzip it and peruse it offline. You can also read it online from there.

If you are a subscriber and don't know the private link you can email me for it. These zip files are less than 40K which is smaller than the 100K or more newsletter email.

Here is your private link: http://sub.luem42.com . Just type sub.luem42.com into any browser.

Clif Notes Newsletter, Feb 2007 http://freewarewiki.com/ClifNotes

"The COOLSITES Newsletter - find the coolest links here. This fella named Mark Donaldson has been sending out his lists of cool sites since 2003. I'd never heard of him before last week. One day I was Googling myself to see who was posting links to my newsletter, and I found his website. I guess he's mentioned my newsletter at least 3 times. I like the COOLSITES website too, but I think it could use some reformatting to make it a bit easier to read. What I really like is the content there. Mark must really read a lot of stuff on the web and he takes the best links then tells you about them." http://freewarewiki.com/CoolSitesNewsletter

Notice from Clif Notes Newsletter
September 29, 2008

Hi all.

I'm sorry, there is no newsletter this time. It's been a busy but
happy week for me and my wife. My son in California called and we are
now the proud grandparents of a baby boy.

I hope to be back with more reviews for you next week.

Best wishes, and thanks for reading.

They Tried to Scam Me

From: Mail from A US ARMY Subject: CAN YOU BE TRUSTED?

Hello Friend,

I am in need of your assistance, Am Sgt. Jarvis Reeves Jr. Am with the engineering unit here in Ba'qubah Iraq for the United States, we have about 23 million US dollars that we want to move out of the country.

My partners and I need a good partner, someone we can trust to actualize this venture. The money is from oil proceeds and legal. But we are moving it by diplomatic means to your house directly or a safe and secured location of your choice using diplomatic courier services.

But can we trust you? Once the funds get to you, you take your 30% out and keep our own 70%. Your own part of this deal is to find a safe place where the funds can be sent to, our own part is sending it to you.

If you are interested I will furnish you with more details.
Urgently awaiting your response.

Your Buddy,
Sgt. Jarvis Reeves.

God Bless America!!!
