Obama’s First Major Vote in the US Senate—Against 26 Democrats—Was to Give Federal Courts Jurisdiction Over Class Action Cases Involving At Least 100 Plaintiffs, If $5 Million Was At Stake, And Two-Thirds Of Plaintiffs Lived In Different States.

Obama Voted With Republicans On The Class Action Fairness Act That Made It Harder For Plaintiffs To Sue Corporations

Obama Passed Into Law Legislation Requiring Lobbyists To Disclose Their Bundling Activity, Making Him Unpopular Even Among Other Democrats.

Either way, it's not Obama claiming to be a mavrick. It's the one who's voted with Bush 100% of the time over the past year and 90+ percent of the time in previous years that's claiming to be a mavrick. I agree, he WAS a mavrick 8 years ago. Right now, Palin is more of a mavrick than McCain is.

Ejward, I don't feel like looking back for it, but if you remember we already proved that McCain didn't align to Bush, Bush aligned to McCain. What's Obama's excuse for voting 97% of the time with his party? That is, when he bothers to vote.

He's missed far fewer votes than McCain over the last year.

And neither one of them should be excuses for abandoning their job. The both owe us a lot of their paycheck back.

None of which takes away from Bush aligning to McCain, while Obama refused to buck his party.
